Child size chairs and tables are the norm in early childhood services because this is what is safest for children, according to Dr. Sarah Alexander, chief executive of CHildForum. My students are currently sitting at a table designed for kindergarten to adult. This causes my students not to be able to place their feet to the floor and sit correctly and comfortably. I have requested tables and chairs that are designed for my age group. This will give my students the ability to sit with their feet on the floor and do their table work with ease. I want to provide a safe, learning environment for all children to learn and grow in.
