Here at Hartsville Middle School, our gym equipment is inadequate. The jump ropes are broken, the hula hoops are cracked, the volleyballs are torn, and our electric ball pump is broken. Because of the old and crusty equipment, it is hard to learn a sport and succeed. New equipment would make gym class much more enjoyable, as well as making us more successful. Some Fridays in gym, students are allowed to participate in the activity of their choice, but there are not many options. Students are limited to only a few activities, and even the equipment we have is damaged. We would like for students to be able to participate more and have more of an opportunity. Please help us, help our students.
