The seating, dividers, and sensory items that I am asking for will allow my students to meet their daily sensory needs as well as classroom needs, allowing my students to be more regulated and successful during the school day. The sensory table will allow my students to be able to access a physical output as well as a visual output of their sensory needs. The dividers will allow my students to create spaces in which they can have to themselves. Many times my students need breaks in the day just to take a few minutes to themselves, the dividers will allow us to provide that safe space for those students. It will also aid in student focus as they can engage in their individual task, and not be distracted by the tasks that their friends are working on. The soft seats will aid in the sensory needs of students as well as personal space for whole group activities at the classroom carpet. Each student would be able to grab their own soft seat to bring to the carpet, allowing for more organized and comfortable seating.
