Students in our middle school engineering classes learn best when working on hands on activities that promote problem solving and team work. The Pitsco Straw Rockets would be a great addition to our curriculum by allowing students to experiment with different lengths, weights and fin designs in obtaining the perfect launch and trajectory patterns. The kits include a class set of rockets, launchers and straws as well as a video. Middle school students do not like to make mistakes and like less to fix them. In engineering technology classes, students begin to see mistakes as an opportunity to fix and perfect!
