These Sphero Robots will allow my students to put their computer programming skills to use in a real world environment rather than on a computer screen. The robots are durable and rechargeable, which makes them very economical for a classroom environment. Applying planning and problem solving skills to a hands on project will give my students a tangible way to measure success and quickly learn from their failures. Students will be planning their own programs to make the robot complete tasks. They will then experience immediate feedback as they watch the Sphero follow the commands of their programming. This will give my students a way to channel their creative and analytical thinking to perform a task in a very fun and interactive way.
