I want to replace cold and hard desks with a comfortable learning space with flexible seating for each of my students. This allows students to have a choice to feel comfortable and that they are cared for in their learning environment. This will create an environment and climate that will encourage and motivate them to come and to work hard. School should be student centered and that includes the environment where they are learning. Research shows that students attendance and academics improve when they feel valued. It is not a cliche statement, "Students care about what you care about when they know you care about what they care about."
