The classroom I create and share with my first graders is warm, inviting, engaging, and functional! It is someplace they can feel safe taking learning risks, engage in activities, and comfortably spend their time moving about through different learning activities. The intentional set up of the environment supports a sense of community and function for process and routine. This organization is the foundation for the growth my students do during their 1st-grade year! I want my students to feel like our classroom is a home away from home.
