The Playdoh works great to work on following directions and articulation. The games are wonderful for teaching students to cultivate their communication skills and turn taking skills. In addition, social skills games and games that encourage mindfulness and self-regulation will help my students learn critical skills they need for life. Non-fiction texts will help students learn how to read sub-titles and headings to gain information when reading. The play-based toys like Thomas the Train will be wonderful for early childhood students who are working on communication skills in play-based activities.
