My classroom has an abundant library that students are very excited to use. But over the years the book bins have gotten damaged and I have been unable to replace them. Therefore, the library isn’t organized enough to enable students to easily find books on their levels. I am in a transitional bilingual self-contained classroom with students reading on kindergarten through 4th-grade reading levels. Therefore, organization is imperative to help all students to be able to reach their potential. Students use these book bins daily during various parts of the day. These new bins will also enable the books to be easily accessible to all students with various needs. We need to be sure that our supplies are capable of lasting with this much learning going on! During classwork as well as assessments, students often use folders to help them concentrate on their individual desks/work. However, those tend to get easily destroyed. Privacy boards can be a very important aspect to help students function especially having learners of all abilities. I am requesting privacy boards for students that will encourage their growth in all aspects of daily learning.
