I kindly request 26 copies of "Children of Blood and Bone" to study the book with my entire class. We will use this novel to explore a genre of literature that is often not explored, Science Fiction. My African American literature class will use this book to explore non-fiction. Tomi Adeyemi combines West African religious practices with Afro-futurism giving students a unique literary experience. We will explore the differences between author's purpose, character and plot development in fiction and science fiction. Thank you very much for considering the donation of 26 copies so that each of my students gets their own copy.
