Colormax lava lamps, curtain lights, and a soft light floor lamp will create a sensory-friendly room that will assist students who have experienced trauma or are coping with mental health challenges. Hammock chairs and bean bag chairs will create seating that is appropriate and soothing for students in distress. Sensory informed objects such as a pin board provide tactile input for students who are experiencing a crisis. These items will assist with providing trauma informed interventions to address students' social and emotional needs while they are on campus. These resources are necessary for students to be successful on a large high school campus.
