These materials selected will help kids become more concrete with abstract ideas. They will be able to make sense of the challenging concepts that come to them during their 3rd grade year. These manipulatives will help students be able to hold and understand the new concepts they will be working with in the third grade. I have also included sets of books to help build my library, thus building a love of reading in our room. These materials will last many years. Your donation will support students in the years to come. Everything on this list will help me as a teacher early in my career transform my classroom into the learning environment these students deserve.
