I am requesting funds to attend a professional development this summer to enhance my education and knowledge as a teacher. I will bring back innovative, rigorous, and effective teaching strategies to my classroom to enrich student learning. This one day conference will also allow me to connect and build relationships with other teachers across the state. The conference will focus on reading strategies, building relationships with students, technology based learning, and collaborative, hands-on instruction. As I incorporate these strategies in my classroom, my students will be more engaged and excited to learn! I am striving to be the teacher that never stops learning so my students can receive the best education possible.
