These materials will make a difference in my students being able to access information about today's modern world. Informative texts will expose our students to interesting articles about what is going on in the world today. Reading these articles will challenge students to think critically as well as make valid arguments. Students will be encouraged to apply what they have learned in school, and see how it relates to the world on a larger scale. These articles will be introduced during classes to keep learning fresh while simultaneously engaging the students interest. Learning outcomes will be measured by how well our students can cite evidence from the article while articulating their thoughts and opinions.
