My book choices consists of culturally diverse titles along with leveled readers to help support struggling students. It is important to have book titles that inspire young readers to not only learn strategies to read, but also build a love for reading. This will be accomplished by having a wide variety of titles that students can relate to and find exciting. These options will be used during guided reading lessons(small groups), whole group read alouds, as well as to be checked out and read at home. By embracing a variety of lessons I will be sure to reach a variety of learners.
