My students struggle with behavioral challenges. Because of their particular circumstances, they don't always deal with stress and anxiety very well. Sometimes these types of activities that are distracting and also calming will help them to maintain a more balanced mood throughout the day. I have chosen items such as the Magna-Tiles and the lighted sensory table to help stimulate their creativity while also helping to calm them at the same time. Those and the other items I've selected will help to continue developing my student's minds while also helping them cope with the individual challenges that they face on a daily basis. I am very excited about this project and even more excited to see how the new items impact my students!
