Every year the Y joins the national call for Absolutely Incredible Kids Day. This year the national day lands during spring break so we instead are celebrating on Thursday March 12, the last day before Spring Break. We are going carnival theme with fun carnival games and activities of all kinds in mind already. The idea behind A.I.K.D. is to help kids feel a self-worth, build self-esteem, and show by example just how much a little recognition and appreciation can go a long way. We want them to know they are loved and to spread that love in the community.
