Student health directly impacts academic success. A fully stocked nurse's office will prevent students from being sent home unnecessarily. Because attendance and truancy are issues in this school district, keeping students healthy and in school is the priority of the school nurse. For example, treating simple injuries or illness with the aide of these supplies will keep students in the learning environment. Thank you for considering a donation to this school project. Our appreciation cannot be adequately expressed through words, but these items will help over 600 students ages 5 through 12 years. As some families cannot assist with health concerns at home, the school nurse is the first-line resource and warm support of many young children.
