My town has many artists, and I need to help cultivate those talents. Additionally, many of my students needs alternative ways to demonstrate learning. These materials will help them create brochures, movie posters, game boards, or even advertising campaigns. These are projects that allow for creativity and a looser structure that some students need to thrive. I don't want my students to merely think of English class as boring black and white essays; they world is in color, so why not let them express themselves accordingly? A good supply of pens and markers is the beginning of a good collection of art supplies.
