Stories on CD will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom I currently display. I enjoy observing my students as they quietly listen to stories. Many times they tell me that they heard and/or read a sight word we've learned. Students learn while listening to stories how to express themselves while reading. -Stories on CD will provide my students an opportunity to listen to stories to gain a life-long joy of reading and reading with inflection. What I want most for my students is for all of them to have the opportunity to have exposure to books. When these kids leave the classroom, many go home to a house with no books. My wish for them is when they leave daily from our classroom, they leave with the joy of reading.
