In my classroom, students sit at table groups to collaborate with others. My classroom also has wobble stools in order to help students (who need to fidget a little) focus during school. However, during assessments, students often get distracted by other students. One student said, "Without test blockers, I get nervous because I get distracted by other students." Throughout the year, I have noticed a significant difference in my student scores when they have test blockers. Students have performed SIGNIFICANTLY better when they have test blockers then when they do not have them. "I feel safe and less distracted. I know that I will perform my best when I have a test blocker," said another student. With the FSA coming up, I want my students to feel successful during their test; I believe that with these test blockers and your help these students will be the most successful that they can be!
