These books will give my students an opportunity to read in Spanish. More importantly, the students will be able to read successfully and for enjoyment! The majority of the books are books that they have already read in English. Students are much more likely to want to read if they have an understanding of what they are reading. As well, students will be able to choose the level of the book that most appropriately fits what they need. Creating an environment where students can do something in a different language successfully gives them an incentive to want to do more.
