By having the opportunity to have an iPad in the classroom, I’ll provide my own personal Apple TV to project wirelessly. Students will be able to teach and demonstrate to the whole class their new academic learning and data science skills. They will at the same time also be able to maneuver the iPad from classmate to classmate or group to group to demonstrate their R studio codes and analyze students’ work. This iPad (with a case and Apple Pencil) will definitely enable us with opportunities to have rich classroom discourse in my classroom when solving data-driven tasks. Since all my classes are heavily driven by whole class discussion, an iPad will allow my students to take pictures and videos of their progress when completing investigative tasks and group projects.
