My students will benefit from having access to a weighted lap pad while learning through out the day. The weighted lap pads have been shown to help students with anxiety as well as with ADHD. They will help my anxious students to feel more secure and settled in the classroom. The lap pads will help students that struggle to focus find a balance and feel more settled. With a more settled classroom we can focus even more on the academic areas we need to focus on. My goal is to create a safe, settled, supportive environment for ALL students no matter their background; these lap pads will help me to do that for the kiddos!!
