These materials will help my students foster their interests in Science topics with articles from Science World magazines. Often my students need to have information presented in many different ways (other than from a textbook, or from me). Our new NGSS Science curriculum has kids learning from inquiry and exploration. Having a variety of short articles that coincide with our lessons will enhance their experiences. Having a large class set of dry erase markers will make their student-generated Science models "POP". Kids use large sheets of our "super-fun-shiny-whiteboard paper" and dry erase markers to work together to demonstrate concepts and show what they know, think, or predict our current Science phenomenon. For example: How were ocean fossils found at the top of MT. Everest? Having colored dry erase markers make the experience more fun and precise...and when kids are having fun while learning...well, what is better than that?
