My students are always complaining about dull pencils. With a pencil sharpener in the classroom they will be able to sharpen their own. We will have sharp pencils ready to go! In first grade we use crayons in a daily basis. They use crayons for word work, math, and Illustrations for our writing projects. Families bring in crayons if they can, but many cannot spend those extra few dollars right now. I’d rather have fresh new crayons available. Right now most of the kids have a few used and broken crayons and are missing colors. Whiteboard markers are used on a daily basis. Mini lap whiteboards are a great way to engage my students and get the:excited to show their thinking. They practice spelling, high frequency words, and math problems on their whiteboards. Please help fund my project for the first graders so we have functional classroom supplies. Thank you for considering this project!
