This project will impact my students by helping them see their self-worth and value. They will realize that no matter what happened in their past they can overcome. This novel will allow personal connections to real-life experiences. They can become empowered to be future leaders for others. Our students deserve the opportunity to learn literary terms, be exposed to the experiences of others, and develop a love for reading. Graphic Novels help to break down the language barriers that exist in the classroom. We appreciate any help that you can offer to help us reach our goal. We can't wait to get started!
