My students have special needs and challenges. There are hundreds of applications on the iPad that can help to strengthen their ability to communicate, express their emotions and learn core content such as ELA and Math. Funding for this iPad will help my students learn basic writing, reading and math skills through the use of technology. This will help to create fun, engaging learning experiences for my special needs students. Providing my students with a class iPad will help them to work together to complete tasks. Students will also be able to learn names of letters, letter sounds and number identification. This iPad will be a helpful tool to assist my students increase their knowledge of math and literacy through technology.
