Our curriculum largely uses performance based assessments. Through access to technology, my students will be able to perform research plus create videos, digital art, and animations that will be used to assess their proficiency levels of given standards. In the classroom I intend to use this technology as a way for students to work in collaborative groups or independently to express themselves and what they know through a more engaging and applicable avenue than typical paper pencil assessments. With technology growing everyday, students need to have access and knowledge to basic tech functions. What ever project you choose to support, thank you for investing in the future of students.
