My classroom is filled with books just waiting to be read. Now my students won't have books that are easily accessible to them, so it's important to provide that service to them. They need to be reading because it's instrumental to their growth. These books would provide my diverse learners an opportunity to read regularly without wondering where their books might come from. Reading daily helps students actively use learned skills and opens the door to new vocabulary that helps prepare them for the world they live in. Reading should also be something that enriches their lives!
