Pre-school students come into our health office for a variety of needs. Some are scared or hurt. We try to provide a child friendly environment. The books and music would help the children during procedures that may be painful and may help the child to not be as afraid. Children also learn while they are with the health staff. The child will be able to look at the book and listen to the stories, while the staff provides necessary medical treatments and procedures. They are also still in a learning environment and hopefully not as frightened. So next time they need to come to our office, they will remember the good books and stories.

About my class
