Elementary student don't anticipate having a clothing emergency at school. This can be anything from spilling their milk at lunch, clothing getting torn at recess, or those embarrassing bathroom accidents. Accidents happen. Our students are sensitive about how they look and having something respectable to change into is a a boost to their self esteem. Having clothing available at school can make a difference in a student's day. My lack of adequate clothing often results in a phone call to the parent requesting a change of clothes. This can result in lost time at work for the parent and extended time out of class for the students.

About my class
