I want the opportunity to attend the teacher conference, Get Your Teach On (GYTO) Next Level for professional development. I have been inspired by the awesome teachers who lead this conference, as well as my fellow teachers who have shared their memorable takeaways. I want to attend GYTO Next Level in order to level up my craft of teaching, as it aligns with our ELA standards. By attending this conference, I will be able to learn from master educators whose goal is to provide teachers with innovative and rigorous lessons to ignite and stimulate children's learning. My students will benefit from this event by learning hands-on experiences that connect to content standards, such as doing an activity called Neon Read On (teaches how to effectively read and discuss text) and Questioning Strategies that raise the ELA rigor. I will also return with online access to the digital resources used during the conference, and this incorporation of new technology resources will definitely make my students excited. Teaching has been my passion since I was in third grade considering what I wanted to be when I "grew up." Having completed my master's program in the fall, it is on to my next dream, which is attending this fantastic conference with so many other passionate educators dedicated to the success of students. I would be grateful and ecstatic if you could assist me in making this dream come true!
