These readers will enable my students to read a variety of texts that are on their level. Geared toward high school students who are beginning to learn Spanish, the stories are appropriate for their Spanish reading abilities, and also provide themes that they can relate to. We will use these readers to start our library of books that students will be able to read throughout the year to engage in the target language. The books will spark group discussions to develop their ability to express themselves in Spanish. They will also serve as a starting point for projects that incorporate listening, reading, speaking and writing.
