The books currently in my classroom library are tattered and torn and falling apart due to years of student use. It contains mostly older titles that the students have already read or are not interested in. In order to foster a love for reading, which will benefit my students far beyond 4th grade, I'd like to provide them with an updated classroom library stocked with high interest books on a variety of reading levels so that every student can find a book to fall in love with. I hope to be able to transform my classroom library from a bookshelf full of old worn out books that no one wants to choose from, to a bookshelf full of new, current titles that my students can't wait to get their hands on!
