Research shows that connecting our mind and body is vital to regulate our emotions. The yoga mats will allow students to practice mindfulness moves to work through hard to have feelings. We are so inundated with technology that our connection to our self is suffering. Movement and play is essential for children to learn. To help regulate a child, movement on a trampoline is effective, especially for those who have their recesses removed. We need to get moving! This creates the space for children to be open to receive instruction after their wiggles are out. And, sometimes, jumping is just simply fun!
