Use of Technology in the Classroom Setting is pertinent for enhancing learning for ASD Students. These devices will increase social, oral language development, social-emotional and adaptive skills. Using Technology in the classroom setting will reduce behaviors that interfere with learning. Foster interactive lessons that will increase student participation in the classroom community. Students will improve social skills by using touchscreens to complete tasks. Students will also improve attending skills during small group instruction. Students with ASD will also improve oral language development that will help meet needs and community properly with peers and adults. Research studies show that electronic devices assist with helping students with ASD meet learning goals and objectives.
