I applied and have received a microgrant to obtain enough preparation books for my AP Elite students, however the grant was only enough for half of my students to get guides. I want to make sure that every single one of my students has the opportunity to gain college credit. As low-income students with dreams of going to Tier I universities, my kids often do not have access to quality study materials or information about how college-level exams work. Many other schools train their students on how to take an ACT, SAT, or CLEP test, and I want to start my students out right in 9th grade by providing them 1) a space for them to get extra help (in the form of AP Elite saturday schools) and 2) high quality materials for them to study outside of school and AP Elite.
