As a physical education teacher, it is hard to find resources and funding because most money in the county is put towards “core content” classes. Our physical education department is under funded and lacks fiscal means to purchase new equipment on an annual basis. Being able to utilize ladders and bands during physical education class will increase participation and decrease inactivity. Bands and ladders are a fun and unique way for students to work on speed, agility, range of motion, and cardiovascular endurance. Students will learn the benefits of physical activity and at the same time be able to learn a lifelong physical activity that they can use to stay healthy for the rest of their lives.

About my class
