My students are five and six-year-olds and therefore do not need to sit constantly at tables! They would love to have a large rug to sit on for Reading and Math time as well as during small group learning time! My students would be so excited to have another seating space as they need to be able to move around and have many opportunities for learning spaces. Flexible seating is important especially with younger students. They need to be able to move and have frequent breaks. If they get this rug it will enhance their learning as well as their motivation!
