All of my students need a hands-on way to learn comparing fractions, equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting fractions, and multiplying and dividing fractions. With these foam fraction tiles, each of my students can have their own set to explore fractions. Discovery learning is so important when it comes to retention of information, and the fraction tiles are such a good way to support that. As of now, the students are using paper tiles which end up getting torn, bent, or the student accidentally cut it crooked. The foam fraction strips will help the students see fractions accurately since they will all be the correct size.
