Having snowpants and snowboots will allow all of our children to go outside when it is cold. Most of them do not have even mittens or a hat, let alone snowpants and boots. They do not have the opportunity to play outside as most children do. They live in unsafe neighborhoods, do not have the appropriate clothing or are immigrants and do not understand essential clothing. Head Start children are so happy when we can go embrace the weather we have and be fully clothed for their safety. These items will allow for all of our children to have warm winter gear. We want to give them this opportunity.

About my class
