My students learn Spanish through the comprehensible input model, meaning the goal of my class is to inundate them with as much understandable Spanish as possible that is of high interest to them. Technology plays a big role in delivering comprehensible Spanish to my students. Now, after 2 years of repeated input, my students are ready to produce language. The iPad will provide ample low anxiety and familiar opportunities for my students to demonstrate their abilities to use Spanish. We will create informational videos, music videos, news reports, and more that we can share with our school and community to demonstrate their proficiency in Spanish as well as their excitement and love for the language they have been working hard to acquire.
