It is of the utmost importance to me that my students feel safe, respected and comfortable in my classroom. I strive to build an environment where my students feel free to be themselves and feel proud of who they are and excited about their futures. I believe that reading is the foundation for educational growth and knowledge. Students will use the bean bag chairs as a comfortable space to enjoy their books. Students all over our world, varying in age, and economic standing struggle with various conditions which create obstacles for them to learn to their full potential.I have students in my class who struggle with focus, impulsivity, and high energy which interferes with their learning. By providing additional resources, such as wiggle seats, my students will be able to maintain focus during lessons and work time, which will give them the opportunity to absorb the content being taught. In offering the seat pockets to my students, they will have the resources needed to complete their assignments at their finger tips and will help keep them organized and promote responsibility by giving them a designated place to store their important assignments and materials.
