The materials that I have requested are for a sensory integration center. These items are to help smooth the students when they become over stimulated. These items can also help with transitions for students making for a easier transition because with the sensory integration items it will better enable to have a calm mind and body. When students have special needs transitions are difficult. The students would use this center first when transitioning to a different activity. This center will be designed to sooth the student to better enable them to stay on task and complete their work as well as the every day tasks that they struggle with.
