I teach Spanish at a Global School. With a VR headset, I will be able to give my students real-life experiences of the world around us. Many of my students are poverty-stricken and have never been to a movie theater. VR will give them a chance to visit the depths of the seas, travel into space, visit exotic countries, and have experiences impossible to portray in a normal classroom setting. I will be attending a 4-day seminar in February on how to best implement VR in the classroom to optimize student learning. This resource will aid in the retention and recall of information.
