Flexible seating will allow my students to feel empowered and give them a choice in where they work. Students will will be able to move to the furniture based on their needs. Rocking, wobbling, leaning, standing, and bouncing all increase oxygen to the brain helping to keep students minds alert and engaged. Using flexible seating will support learning in a student centered classroom where individual choice is valued. Students are allowed to find the best spot to stay focused, calm, and productive. Flexible seating promotes collaboration and community. When preparing students for the real world we need to provide them with multiple opportunities to collaborate, make choices, and connect even at an early age. Being able to move to areas in a comfortable, natural way encourages students to think creatively and become better communicators. Students who are comfortable are focused and learning! Please Help us by donating to our project.
