These items will lend to effective practice and development of calming and self-regulation skills my students need to cope with challenges their emotional skill deficits pose. Providing stations with these tools and manipulatives will give students safe places to step away and tame strong emotions, allowing them to gain control and rejoin general education settings in learning activities. These materials will help me to positively impact mine as well as the general education class students' and teachers' classroom experience. The space with these stations will be invaluable to the classroom management and atmosphere of learning throughout our school classrooms.

About my class
