By purchasing materials to be used in a Special Education classroom, you are helping students with special needs learn how to express themselves through their writing. My students are struggling readers, therefore, they are struggling writers. With reading and writing being a huge part of everyday life, it is my ultimate goal to assist my students in succeeded the best they can! Implementing assessments that are fun is a creative way to get students to learn the importance of reading and writing while being able to enjoy their learning! Using comprehension games will assist students with learning to understand what they have read while including fun assessment games to enhance writing will allow them the opportunity to become successful in ways that are opportunistic for them. Allowing my students the opportunity to learn in ways that match their needs is essential to the special education classroom because it promotes self-confidence, better reading and writing skills, and engagement in the fun of learning.
