Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make choices that work the best for them. During independent and group work they choose the location that works for them. Right now, my students choose to work at tables around the classroom. But with your help, they can work comfortably, all around the room. When students are comfortable in their classroom, they are comfortable to explore a deeper meaning with learning and working collaboratively. The products I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The bouncy chair will allow students who need a little more wiggle room to do just that, while the floor chairs will allow them to move around the classroom to that 'right' spot to facilitate learning. The clipboards will give them a surface to write on and help them work together and in order. These choices in seating will allow them to work in a space that is comfortable and chosen just for them.
